Chaiya is obviously extremely effective, after high school I plan on living in Thailand for 10 - 20 years, how much does it cost per year to train with preang? and is there any places to stay? and how is the food and water economy there in Thailand?

This is such a great style. You've really gotta be quick to catch those punches though if you're fighting an experienced boxer or he can just power his way through the guard.
Chance of blood transfusion is practically nil... it's not the UFC lol.
Nathan trains over at Baan Chang Thai with Kru Lek... nice guy too from what I hear.

Man, I want to learn Muay Chaiya. Get this to the states asap!

@TAC412 None taken, I appreciate the information! However, I wonder if that's because the U.S. just has a higher population in general and if there's some kind of proportional statistic that would say otherwise.

@Ronnock No offense but Thailand's HIV/AIDS prevalence estimatation is lower than the estimation in the US. Most importantly use a condom and be safe.

@Deoz Yeah, well, they (and myself) aren't worried about that, it's about possible blood transfusion when, lets say, myself and my sparring partner get a cut during sparring, and he/she has HIV, then I could possibly be infected. But, I wouldn't think someone who typically has HIV would be able (or even the kind of person who would) train in Martial Arts. Yeah, I thought Nathan trained with another teacher.
Thank For Comment ^_^

@Deoz No problem man! I really want to learn Chaiya. I'd come to Thailand to learn it, but my family is incredibly apprehensive about that (their reasonings are HIV warranted, which, I didn't think it was a problem in Thailand, is it?) and just the overall expense of things. Once I'm out of college, I might continue my graduate degree over there and or in Australia and make trips to Thailand to learn. Do you know a Nathan Brown? He trains Chaiya over there, I can't remember with whom though.

Never mind, I saw the glove part later. I should really watch all the videos before posting, haha.
Good video man! I would really love to learn Chaiya, but there aren't any teachers in the states, so I'm just learning the four B's and sticking with Muay Thai (sport) for now.
Take care! Peace.
