Take-off and display of Avro Vulcan B2 XH558, the world's only airworthy Vulcan, at Farnborough Airshow 2008 (Sunday 20th July).

This brought back happy childhood memories for me, as it was the first time I'd seen it at an airshow since 1992. It was even more impressive than I remembered, with the famous 'howl' in full song :)

  • Impressive powerclimbs and nearly 90-degree banks. The Vulcan's fighter-like qualities are readily apparent.

  • Nice vid. I was there on Sunday too. A 320 mile round trip to see this beauty fly for 8 minutes... priceless!
