What a joke, glad I didn't buy this game, too easy, can do it on one life. I'm not even sure if Konami made it, if they did they would have ramped up the difficulty.
The only decent thing about this game is the ending sequence, music is classic, makes you want to play the original gradius' 1–5!!

Hey, where's the boss rush
-
I'm laughing at the crappy laser defense system. lol.

@prettyangry I know how Gradius games work :p But even for one loop, that's not a whole lot of levels. The first Gradius had 7 stages. The second one had 8. The third one had 10 stages (Plus 2 hidden levels for the arcade version), Gaiden and IV had 9, Gradius V had 8... Even Gradius Galaxies had 8 ! And they all had loops as well. Gradius ReBirth, compared to ALL other Gradius games in the series, is significantly shorter.

@Quartrez that's one loop, at the following ones the bosses get tougher and the regular enemies spam more shots. It's quite replayable

There are only five stages ?

@WarioMan3K And then there's the final boss of Salamander 2...
-
@kutterkirby Its a remix of Crystal forever the game over theme from Salamander.

The game is excellent but it think that, if the game is from wii, graphics could be more special :S just like gradius V of PS2

Bacterion: "You can't beat me! NEVER!!!"
Vic Viper pilot: "Oh yes, I can! *blows the enemy brain himself to pieces*"
Just as I expected--the final boss is always ridiculously easy. He says random crap in a pathetic attempt to make you crap on yourself, yet he doesn't seem to fight back at all.
