I was very young. My older brother took me to the local movies house which was a block away. This movie scared me so bad, I ran out the theater, and home. He was mad as HELL!

I think this was one of those William Castle films for which exhibitors had rigged the theater seats. A patron sitting in one of the rigged seats would experience a mild electrical shock; producing the aforementioned "tingling" sensation.
