  • i live in AL.... wheeler is da shit! i release nothin if i catch a cat its goin in the freezer

  • what kind of line you use

  • @drewnickel Oh for sure. I fish cats where I'm from, but I live in Minnesota so it's tough to come by anything bigger than 20 pounds or so. I've always wanted to go after some giants. Sounds like it'd be pretty interesting. Let me know how it goes.

  • @LayEmOut60 I went there and learned that you cant go without sinkers, I was wrong about the boats thing but nobody out there was fishing for catfish, the water right by the edge of the dam at the generators is 60ft deep and only 40 degrees, meaning that a fish only has to eat a little bit to grow alot. next time I'm bringing sinkers and my monster deep sea pole so I'm ready for those monsters. the can live to be 40 years old and can potentially grow to 200lbs so I'm hoping of showing that

  • @drewnickel That would be bad ass if you pulled that off. You'd have a hell of a fight with that much line out.

  • Nice!! You guys thow that catfish in the fryer?

  • any tips on fishing for these monsters, I'm going to lake chickamauga for some monster fishing, the waters below the dam are filled with catfish, and since fishing boats aren't allowed within 300yds that means that 2000ft wide and 900ft long patch of water is untouched by fishing boats, so the fish are allowed to grow. the width and depth means they are even further sheltered from capture, but I plan on using a slingshot to launch my baits into the middle of the dam to see if I have any luck

  • @cchanderson

yeah that,s the way i do it to!

Lift the anchor and trimmed up the motor, because the propp can cost a big fish!

And clear all lines because you don,t want it to tangle up!

  • have u caught any bigger
