John Coltrane's Countdown done at a relaxed swing tempo on the Hammond XB-2 with percussion. Premature ending but I didn't want to do another take.

  • A little too trebley for me. I do like your fluid soloing.

  • @JamKar1. I agree with you on the "trebley" sound JamKar. At the time was still trying to learn how to set my stops on this XB2. That little organ has since died on me and I've replaced it with an XK-1. Will put something on with the new setup soon. I appreciate you comments ... Thanks.

  • We met somewhere but I cant remember where.Daryle Pooser -Guitarist

  • Was I playing piano, organ or tenor sax? That would be a clue as to where or how long ago.

  • Good post. Yeah, I like this version. Got back your smooth flow. Nice shape to your lines. The percussion gives it a little more bite.

What happened at the end? I was waiting for more.

  • Yeah I just lost my train of thought (maybe "Trane of thought) at the end and decided I'd just wait for another train.

Thanks again for the feedback akubue.
