Ontario, Canada continues to fight the Pit bull Ban

Shasta's BEAUTIFUL! Not only that, but she's given me back my life. She's done more for me than any human ever could & she's found cancer and other infections in other people too.

The Pit bull breeds are remarkable. Helen Kellar used one as her Companion Dog & many have died in order to save people.

They make excellent Therapy Dogs, Service & Guide Dogs, Drug sniffing dogs, Search & Rescue just to name a few.

If someone didn't like your looks, does that make you a bad person?

This pit bull descrimination and inaccurate media portrayal of the breed is just flat-out ignorance. Those of you who are pro BSL, you probably either don't know or have blinded yourself to the fact that according to a recent study conducted by the American Temprament Test Society showed that pit bulls passed with about an 84% which I might point out is higher than beagles, labs, and golden retreivers, who are supposed to be the most dossile of dog breeds?

FACT: The year the ban was brought into being there were 30 bites from a certain breed of dog OF the THREE banned breeds (clumped together and labelled pit bulls) there was a total of 12. FACT: Since records were taken in 1961 of dog fatalities there has NEVER been a Child killed in the Whole of Canada from ANY of the banned dogs yet there are 38 documented deaths of children due to dog fatalities. BSL IS BULL. Michael Bryant was and is the TICKING TIME BOMB.

I hope the ban is lifted very soon, I love American Pitbull Terriers. I think as long as muzzeled properly in public and not outside in your yard without a fence, what harm can they create. I know people that have unregistered pitbulls in Ontario they can be imported province to province very easy... Just don't get caught doing this
