Ron Mueck Art Exhibition

mrstripyhead stripy head stripeyhead mrstripey l went to the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art to check out the Ron Mueck collection. All l can say is... it was AMAZING! If not a little creepy. lf you get a chance to see his art work, DO IT! He is a hyper realist sculptor, and he uses polyester resin, fibreglass, silicone, polyurethane, wood, and synthetic hair.

Ahh this is good art... How does he capture their expressions like that? Have seen many good pieces at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (at least I have online). I would pay to see that art. Anyone heard about the "20T Art Museum"? Fascinating concept, hope somebody reads that article and actually makes a museum like that.

Was at the Turner in Margate and viewed Rons work all i can is stunning .It was the the black kid (2.45) the attention to detail was mind blowing all in a figure not much taller than 14 inches high.WOW...............
