She may be short in stature, but on the April 16, 2005, episode of The Price is Right $1,000,000 Spectacular primetime special (during Season 33 of The Price is Right), Sheena Lindholm became the show's biggest winner ever, daytime or primetime, in the history of the show up to that point by winning a combined total of $183,688 in cash and prizes. And while a contestant named Vickyann became the show's biggest daytime winner by winning $147,517 one and a half seasons later, Sheena's winning total in the end turned out to be the biggest amount any daytime or primetime Price is Right contestant ever won during Bob Barker's tenure as the show's host, since there were no millionaires on the $1,000,000 Spectaculars that Barker hosted. After Drew Carey became host, Adam Rose became the first millionaire on the $1,000,000 Spectacular early in 2008 (Michael Haynes and Cynthia Azevedo also did likewise later that year), becoming the first contestant to surpass Lindholm's primetime and overall record, and is still the show's primetime and overall record holder.

But for Sheena, then a freshman softball player at Eastern Oregon, her record, set at that time and stood until Adam broke it, consisted of winning a $4,590 sailboat that was an item up for bid (Sheena bid $3,200, Amy bid $5,000, Philip bid $1,400, and Steven bid $5,001), then winning a $77,566 Cadillac XLR convertible and four dollars in cash she still had left after winning Lucky Seven, then winning $1,000 on the Big Wheel in the first Showcase Showdown by getting 55 cents and 45 cents to top the 90 cents (which Amy did in just one spin) she had to beat to get to the Showcase. And while her bonus spin didn't result in either $5,000 or $1,000,000, in the Showcase, Sheena, by virtue of not going over on her showcase (she bid $75,000 on a showcase valued at $100,528, which consisted of a flat-screen TV, a trip to the Mediterranean, and a motorhome; Philip bid $61,000 on his showcase, around $4,000 over what it was worth), won her showcase. In the end, her prizes together valued at $182,684, combined with the $1,004 in cash she won, gave her an all-time (prior to Adam) grand total of $183,688. Congratulations Sheena!

  • this is out of date; some guy won both showcases and the million dollars (million dollar show)

  • @JIMFoamy1 This isn't out of date: Sheena is indeed Bob Barker's biggest winner ever. Remember, Barker never had any millionaires on the Million Dollar Spectacular. Drew Carey was the host for all three millionaires on the MDS.

  • @THUMPBUMPDUDE Actually, after her appearance, Sheena decided to sell most of her prizes, because in reality, she never really felt comfortable driving a luxury car. She sold most of her prizes so that she could one day buy her own car to her liking.

  • Fire the black models. Their wide nose and big puffy lips make them ugly.

  • $100,000 in one showcase? I don't see a lot of MDS showcases when the ARP is over $100,000.

  • she looks like lohan doesn't she?

  • Let me guess. She played short-stop! Most girl teams have the cutest, shortest girl at short-stop.

  • What music cue is that one used in the showcase?

  • @JIMFoamy1 fail

  • @taknyouout

Wow. do you have ANY idea how many people have already told me this? I already said i was sorry and misunderstood A LONG FUCKING TIME AGO.

  • @vigorousAtheist this is bob barkers biggest winner NOT DREW CAREYS biggest winner

  • @MagusKain ???

    U mad? Yeah u mad....

  • @vigorousAtheist

Oh, so those people won more than she did AFTER this was posted over two years ago? Weird. It's almost like time doesn't stand still, and keeps going, even after something was posted.

    Also, F Drew Carey.
