Race in Mexico. Both cars are 100% stock. 2010 with 2700 miles on it.
2010 is a 6-speed. 2002 is an automatic

@iTrollz4dalulz Well not if you bang the fuck outta the gears, you could do a quick shift :P...Plus auto's have less power compared to manual, stock for stock.

the video i was referring to actually ended up being an LT1 auto...lol so nevermind about my previous comment. but the times that are given by road tests are very close to an LT1 rating. i clocked my 96 T/A i had at 5.8 to 60mph with 70k on it. never did a 1/4 run but i would guess it would be close to the rating of 14.0@101mph

@timmypstyle Must have been a bad driver. The LLT V6 has 312 hp compared to the late LS1's 315 (this can be considered arbitrary), 285ft-lb tq to 340ft-lb in the LS1 (not so arbitrary), and nearly 600lb disadvantage.

Of course, if it was a stickshift LS1 and auto LLT, the times would be skewed. Auto's have quicker shifts.

for anyone saying the 02 should have done better....actaully the 2010 V6 will almost stay with the 02. there is a vid on youtube of a Z28 LS1 racing a new V6 and its only a few tennths off...
