The ones I used to work on, which were fairly old, mid 80's, had two 575 HP Cummins KTA1150's.
That's two six cylinder 1150 cubic inch turbocharged and after cooled diesels.

Digging to the next layer of coal. Unblasted!
What else could dig that material and fill 785 Hauler's. If you watch close he is just popping the rock off the next seam down.
