Bumblebee Transformer Halloween Costume

This is my 2009 Halloween costume for our University of South Alabama College of Medicine party.

It is plywood with canvas stretched over it. It was inspired by a video i saw on youtube of a suit that looks much lighter and more comfortable. This one weighs in at 64 lbs. The gear rack you can see in the grill has 2 headlights, an MP3 speaker (3.5mm jack), and a portable laser light show. All of these are powered by a total of 13 batteries. I used GIMP to create the tag and to print out the door emblems. As you can see in the video, transforming can be a little awkward and sometimes the doors flop open because I didn't put any keepers on them. The helmet and arm cannon were purchased. Everything else is my design.

I won the costume contest for the second year running but there was a close call this year when one of my classmates showed up in a very nice hand-made Master Chief outfit.

NEED TO WATCH A LITTLE BIT MORE THE MOVIES THEN RE-MAKE THE CUSTOME BROTHER, CAUSE THAT'S UGLY. I BUILT MINE, BOTH, OPTIMUS PRIME AND BOMBLEBEE, THEY DON'T TRANSFORM, BUT I MAKE KILLING MONEY HAVING PICTURES TAKEN WITH THEM. BUT THEY LOOK REAL. TRUST ME MEN, WATCH THE MOVIE.
