These lyrics are terrible.
They are just dark words and imagery strung together.
Poetically, it's barely coherent.
Forgive me for having an opinion, but this is as pretentious as music can be. This is NOT doom metal.
I have also seen Evoken live and they were unbearably bad and laughable to behold, in my opinion.

@lastofmany1 most of the time I call a song evil I would say it's because it sounds malicious in it's nature, very few bands can produce music that truly fits that description.

The lyrics are awesome and very dark. Dark does not equal evil don't ever forget that. Only certain religions teach a war between light and dark. They are two halves to a whole and only when both are in balance can life be worth living. All things born must die and return to the Earth where they are recycled into new life. Only when we embrace this will we no longer be scared of death. Only when we embrace this will we see the only evil is in the intention not the action.
