Rj Thackeray Raja Shiv Chhatrapati DVD launch

The launch of the DVDs was held on June 24th at the MCA Club in Bandra, Mumbai. The launch was held in the full Maratha glory - women in traditional sarees, a tutari welcome, which stirred everyone in the audience. The venue had replicated the Shivaji Maharaj's era - showcasing decorated palkhi and floral welcome with tilak. Along with the serial's cast and crew, eminent citizens like Raj Thackeray, Shri BabaSaheb Purandare, Shri Sambhaji Raje Bhosale, Sunil Tatkare, Yatin Karyekar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rajkumar Hirani, Neeta Lulla, Ashutosh Gowarikar, were present to support the venture.

Nitin Chandrakant Desai, the well known art director who is also Managing Director, Chandrakant Productions Private Limited, stated that in an effort to take Shivaji's values and culture globally, his production house Chandrakant Productions Private Limited is all set to launch a big International movie on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for global audience, with an International cast and crew.
