Haven't heard this before or of Rickie Lee Jones - Blown away by the intimacy in the lyrics and performance. Beautiful. Great Post

I need to buy this CD. I can hear it here anytime but if this recording is on it, I want to own it for myself!

Cuts right through . . .

Love this song so much. This is wonderful, but here's the mark of true greatness, the album version is actually better :). Takes nothing away from this performance though, it's just unusual.
Funny, the compression artifacts of the streaming resolution actually create some sustained harmonics that almost sound like the backing vocals on the album version.

The most talented lyricist since Laura Nyro. An absolute genius, A terrible dresser.

Absolutely the Dutchess of Coolsville. Her voice and words are so easy and natural, like talking to an old friend.

does anyone have the tabs for this song?

Heartbreaking . . .

Look at her smile at the end there, when she repeats "you are the sweetest boy I know". He really must be. This is sad, simple and elegant. Beautiful.
