@jaelle210 More like a failure on you and 4kids' part on being ignorant on Arabic name pronunciations. You are more likely to find someone named "Malik Ahmad" or "Shahid Malik" than "Marik whatever". "Malik" in Arabic means king (ملك); Malika = queen (ملكة). "Marik" doesn't exist. Japanese pronunciation of Malik's name (ma-ri-ku) has been poorly transcribed to "Marik" by 4kids due to Japanese's poor usage of l/r sounds. His name really should have been that; same with ISIS Ishtar (not Ishizu).
