Pilz Animation PSENmech

PSENmech is characterized by an increased extraction force on the actuator, which prevents the safety gate from being opened unintentionally. PSENmech with guard locking also ensure that the safety gate is interlocked until any hazardous production process is complete. When combined with Pilz evaluation devices, this provides a safe, complete solution up to Category 4 in accordance with EN 954-1. The safety switches are quick and flexible to install. This is guaranteed by the compact design, radius or standard actuator and up to eight actuation directions. As well as using an innovative connection technology, PSENmech can also be connected to all common control voltages, enabling universal integration within the system. PSENmech mechanical safety switches are suitable for safe monitoring of a movable guard. When the guards are opened, the safety switches are triggered and the hazardous machine movement is stopped by means of an evaluation device. Due to their mechanically-coded actuators the PSENmech safety switches comply with the standard EN 1088 (protection against defeat). With two PSENmech safety switches on the input side in conjunction with Pilz evaluation devices on the output side, it is possible to achieve a safe,
complete solution for applications up to Category 4 in accordance with EN 954-1. Evaluation devices include PNOZ safety relays, PSS programmable safety systems and the safe, open bus system SafetyBUS p.
