I just checked, All NYX Round lipsticks have creamy formula. I think you might have mistaken matte lipsticks for colors that aren't shimmery or frosty. There's no way I can describe what matte lipsticks are like but I can tell you that Revlon has a line of matte lipsticks (I don't think other drugstore brand does), go check it out, it'll clearly label "MATTE" on the label. Matte lipsticks has a completely different texture n I love it!!!! It might be drying on some's lips.

@TheEmilyNielsen well when I emailed cherry culture I asked if they had matte in the NYX and they told me there were some that gave off the look. I LOVE those revlon ones! They are drying but some of the lipsticks from NYX give off that matte look without the drying. I personally dont like the frost look as much as the matte so thats why I was interested in getting some of these lipsticks. I know what you mean that matte is different. I think of NYX as applied creamy but have a matte look.

The nyx lipsticks, Were any of them frosty and shimmery?

Some were matte others were frost. none had like chunks of glitter which was good!

@PurplePop101 do u remember which ones were frosty? When you say matte, you mean none of them were creamy or shine right? Because i dont think NYX has yet made any matte lipsticks, I remember theyre all creamy formula, at least the nyx round lipsticks.

@TheEmilyNielsen The very light ones came across on the lips matte. there wasn't any shine although it did feel creamy on the lips. They contained no sparkles nor a frosty look though. If you want I can show you what each one looks like on lips and swatches!! However I can def. check which were frosty. They are packed at the moment since Im moving but I can message you ASAP!!!
