the quality of petrenko's jumps was so much better than browning's, so much more centered and solid, and of course artistically petrenko was in his own league. his usual romantic-era classical music suits his style much better, but he certainly made the most of this music. excellent! And for a lesson in style, the whole current generation should study his 1988 (!) olympic performance, esp. the layback spin.

Yes it was allowed back then. For the jumps, they had to do the following: any combination with a triple jump - (it could be triple/triple or triple/double), an optional triple jump and a double axel.
