I think his name was Philip Lawrence- he was 49 when he died- shows how funny life can be.

Dotse was totally a joke- he was probably an alcoholic too- whatever the case, he seemed to trick the school for over 10 years as he told my mum he was teaching, It beats me how no one picked up on his lack of control, I guess the parents probably couldn't be bothered either- the trouble is he got booted out too late- when all the damage was already done- just out of curiosity I wonder if he is still alive now or gave up the ghost.

Respond to this video... It was a really ruff school back then, we had race riots, teachers getting beat with baseball bats, the kid who stabbed the head teacher stephen laurence was 2 years above me, in my brothers year.. you never knew what was gonna happen. Pretty crazy/sad time. Denise Davis' was my head of year, man I couldn't stand her, but that's another crap story... It looks better now, but then again, It couldn't have got much worse...

@computermaster Emanuel Dotse yes, he was my maths teacher, haha. He used to leave the classroom, stand outside the door looking in through the window to try and catch us messing about, Even though everyone could see him!? He used to fall asleep in class too, what a strange individual.

I don't know if the standards have improved, but it was a real mess back in my day- some teachers I don't know for the love of God how they became teachers, the standards must have been terribly low, if there is chaos all the time in the classroom, frankly speaking you don't deserve to be in that position.
