So Apple had this idea 20 years ago... and now Apple is gonna steal the same idea from Microsoft?
And btw, Microsoft bought this table from another company, they didnt develop this theirselfs.
Further, this isnt really a case of stealing ideas, it's a pretty forward thing of making a surface screen (in a table, on the wall, etc). It's more a case of whom has the technology.
Apple has proven (with the iphone) it has and Apple has always been better on User Interface. So sorry microsoft (fanboy)

The Ipad is sort of similar to these two. So it kind of happened in the end.

also while this might of been orginal its unlikely Mac had a working prototype even though Speech recognition is no where near as good as this video.

@KingBigBang two engineers at Microsoft Made the device, it was not acquired from an outside company. Read the wikipedia article. You are thinking of the Kinect which was aquired, Also i disagree i have used an iphone its interface is OK but i would say the WP7 is more intuitive but that is all in the eye of the beholder. Also Surface technology is pretty cool and takes a lot of engineering talent to come up with.
