Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Pixel Art - A Minecraft Time-lapse

For reasons of boredom (And wanting to play with the new height limit) I transfer the wonderful Scott Pilgrim artwork of Bryan Lee O'Malley into Minecraft pixel art! I had a rough plan and did fluff up a couple of times but I'm very happy with this. :D

The image is 219 by 123 blocks and took about 5 hours to roughly plan and just over 7 to build. (Bonus points if you count how many minecraft day and nights it turned out to be!)

How do you go about planning something like that? How would you make sure you didn't put a block in the wrong place and then screw up the whole thing..?

@TheNinjaDefuze The steps I take.

1. Get a drawing I want to pixelate.

2. Open up a blank paint file and redraw it out using a max height of 123 pixels.

3. Use that new image with 1 pixel = 1 block as a reference while building.

Also, the fact that the pixel drawing is mine means I can just compensate if I screw up... Which I did... A lot. :p

2 things, first, how do you get this to be your job? lol that would be a fun job, but second, i think there is a single player command that can set the time of day to a certain time permanently... so you could have it be day the whole time... just letting you know, cause i could not see anything when it was dark...
