@trawford1 Mounted like this is the "traditional" way. This is for if you're going to be using it as an alt ride, better suited to larger chinas. Kinda redundant on a smaller china, as mounting traditional chews up your sticks and breaks the cymbal quicker if you crash it. You get a more powerful sound inverting it as well.

Hmm... Sounds good, but lacking in something. It doesnt have as good as the Sabian 19" Paragon Chinese.

is the fucking same... jazz drummers use it like this...
metal drummers use it way up..
metal will hurt drum sticks... thats why the form to play it, and this form is yo hit in the middle not the center so your drum sticks are safely
but i prefer way up too
