Great guide, thanks for it. I lost a few crystals on wave 28. I think it was because I couldn't see which crystals you were energizing because there was a word baloon in the way of the video.

Wave 28 is brutal. Just pause the video and double check and you should be fine. Also saving and exiting during a wave you know you are going to fail then continuing from the main menu will restart that wave over.

this 'Perfect' doesnt always work, i lost 6 crystals on wave 29 and i followed the guide EXACTLY! but it still got me through the map :D

You're missing something then. I have already had a few people message me the guide worked perfectly first time through for them. Pause the video and look over wave 29.

Also you can "save" exit the wave if you think you are going to fail and replay that wave by "continuing" from the main menu. Wave 29 only upgrades the Time Mage to lvl 4 so I'm not sure why that was your breaking point. It is a pretty easy wave if you upgraded everything prior properly.

I'm having the same problem on wave 28. I followed this thing to a T but 5 units go through.

I noticed on Wave 29 though that a Time Mage just seems to appear out of nowhere next to the first batch of Berserkers you placed and it's already LV2. Also the Hunter you placed on the north west portion of the map is already LV7 but when you set them up for wave 28 it was on level 6.

I'm going to go through it again and place a LV2 Time Mage and level up the Hunter to LV7. It's obviously a poor edit.

Gosh man you caught it again Pazzled. I must have added that after I started the wave.

Added another notation for the others that view it. Most of the in the middle placement happens in the beginning of the level not sure why there have been a few that skip past my radar.

Not a "poor edit" just overlooked in the replay on that single wave. Wave 28 was bar none the hardest to prepare for. I think the Time Mages actually screwed things up for me.

I've found the best way to follow these guides is to triple check your unit placements, leveling, crystals and energizing before starting the wave. First, place and level as the video does. Second, when the video pauses to 'skip' to the next wave, check everything again. Third, and what I find most important, pause the vid again as the next wave starts, before anything else gets leveled. That way if something was added and was unclear, you can check it after you know success has already came

Hi there! Only just bought this game a couple of weeks ago, I was having trouble with this stage, especially wave 28! Your guide solved it for me .. so thanks a bunch. Just as a note when deploying the thief, I actually deployed mine in wave 6, that meant not upgrading the Hunter to level 3 I upgraded the Hunter on wave 8 Wave 9 the thief was level 2, at wave 10 level 3, wave 11 level 4. The difference in Gil was startling in how it affected the affordability of units - I ended with 3008 Gil.

It seems strange that 28 is about 5 ties harder than 30

so umm my wave 14 wasn't lamiaes in fact I didn't have any lamiaes in my line up at all instead I got marborols and chocobos I dunno whats going on but I play on a 360 something isn't lining up though.
