  • music is cool..

  • @mytac0sftw Sorry, but I don't get what your problem is. Did I say something wrong? I was just kidding when I said he copied the code.

Why are guys like me making you wanna quit "trying at computers"?

  • @LanHikari90 No offence but it's people like you that make me wanna quit trying at computers. You may come back and say "Well good cause you don't know shit" but whatever, You have no Idea how many times I have been trashed over the web.

  • @derbigpr500 It really depends where and what you work on. I work in a small company owned by a personal friend of mine, so i am preety free when it comes to deciding what time i will work, and in my free time i work on videogame development, which is, for me at least, a preety fun job to do. I do however agree on the deadlines. Ive spent many nights awake, sitting at my pc, trying to get something done, but all in all, i enjoy it, and i think its a really rewarding job.

  • @TolSatha Not to mention its very hard, underpaid, you get no respect from most people, people look at you as a freaky person (and you have no choice in becoming one eventually), you're constantly on deadlines, constantly worried about what you will have to do next, and stressful situations are created even when there's no need for them. Its a shitty job that's treats you as a machine, not as a person.

  • @TolSatha I used to work as a programmer developing software for a bank and I still agree with him. Its probably one of the most "life-wasting", antisocial, boring and unhealthy careers out there. You need to be a really hard-core geek to actually think its fun and do it your entire life, or have to be very lucky to get a shot at developing some proper interesting software. Sadly, 90% of "programmers" become coders". That's why I started med school after getting my information systems degree.

  • thank god he made me into a half as artist this would put anyone to sleep. like waiting in a clinic boring!

  • Abschreiben kann ich auch....

  • Honestly I've been programming in various languages over the years (C++ being my main one, python the most fun) and it's more about the thrill of discovering a new technique than it is the thrill of arthritis medicine. Maybe I mixed those up, but they're both good.
