http://www.facebook.com/amplifiedmusic I'm aware that most Jay-Z fans have never heard of the Stone Roses, and that most Stone Roses fans don't listen to Jay-Z. But this is what I like to do with my music- bring different genres together, helping people discover new music.
The Stone Roses are an amazing band that not many people outside of the U.K. have heard of. Everyone has heard of Jay-Z, but personally I'm not a fan. I just realized that these two song fit very well together- and Jay-Z's acapella Black Album is heaven for mash-up/remix artists, one of the only I could find at the time. I hope to make more mash-ups like this in the future, with some classic rapper like Tupac and Biggie.
So enjoy- if you don't like it, stick to what you like, and if you do like it, find out more about either of the artists- you will find some gems.

I'm probably one of the few who is a fan of both Stone Roses and Jay-Z...good music is good music, man. People need to stop thinking within genres and cultures and just GROOVE, MAN. That's what it's all about : ]
