In this sixth chapter of Thompson/Center's "World of Muzzleloading" series, we follow Gregg Ritz (http://greggritz.com/) and Tiffany Lakosky (http://www.thecrush.tv/) while they weigh pellets or powder.
Most of the public, they use pellets. They're simple - they're easy - and they are accurate. Sometimes the optimal load is NOT 100 or 150 grains of powder.
The sport of muzzleloading is the fastest growing segment in the shooting sports industry today!

@travish10 While the Triumph can handle 150 grains of pyrodex or triple seven (3 pellets) there may be other reasons that IMR suggests only two. I would check with them to see their reasoning. Enjoy that Triumph this season!

I want to use White Hots in my new TC Triumph, but IMR only recommends using 2 white Hot pellets. Can I still use 3 pellets of IMR White Hots for the "Magnum Load" without damage. Someone I know says he does it with no problems., but I'm not sure about doing that to my gun.
