I Am Video

This song was written by John Lamb and I in 1980 at the dawning of the video era and was performed by our original band Revelations. John and I re-recorded the song in 1983 so that I could use it in a song competition on popular CT rock station 195FM. I needed a band name even though I didn't have a band at that time. My good friend Robin turned me on to a biblical hero named Job and I made up the name BeJobe to use as the name of my fictitious band. I entered the contest and came in 2nd. Rightfully so because Kinetic Sect had a great song called She Charade, loved it.
Anyway I later used the name BeJobe for my real band so this is actually the very first BeJobe song. You can see BeJobe at youtube site BeJobeband. Here are the lyrics to "I Am Video".

Remember when Music Television only had like 55 videos ???......... Yeah, Music Telelvision was like only 6 to 12 hours as day and then you knew you had seen all the videos when they started to repeat?? ok I seen Tony Basil , now comes Adam Ant... ok seen 'em all, let's go out!

This is awesome. Great job! Love the images with that classic 80's synth sound. Pretty sure that's Mark Hermann on guitar, who worked on the first Five for Fighting record (and a few of mine too).
