Intuition is usually correct, but people who emphasize intuition too much make silly mistakes. It's a simple concept summed up on one sentence.

how can we tell the difference between intuitive feelings and feelings of anxiety and worry..especially if we are someone who experiences anxiety often? For example..someone may have a bad feeling because they tend to worry, but that doesnt mean it's an intuitive feeling ..right? please help

Intuition is a mind, soul, spirit, human, thing, energy, you name it, free from conditional being. Meaning, it follows the current without following it. It asks questions without questioning. And comes to conclusions without thinking. Intuition, is beyond you and at the same time in your grasp. It's a gift that should not question. It is like a parent and at the same time you are that parent. Intuition in the hands of the bad results in corruption, in the good it results in enlightenment.
