our first tank after few years of break up with fishes. tank was brought in together with fishes, ornaments and even water. the stock is
2x discus,
2x angelfish (one mother of pearl and one with yellow and black markings),
2x kissing gourami,
bosemani rainbowfish,
dwarf gourami,
tiger barb,
bristlenose plec
7x albino catfish.

they all seems to live very well together. we would like to add some more fishes into it, that would be neons (tetras), one knifefish, another discus, but only one (to be honest i am little concern about it) and i would very like to see in this tank a betta splendes (siamese fighting fish, male). what do you think about it?

the filter is fluval 304, all plants are artificial. spray bar is directed 45 deg on to wall to create waves and to kill current. soon i will change it to a tank-long clear spray bar. when i get it then i try how to direct it.

comments are very welcome about this tank. we are far away to harm any fish, so glad to hear from you.

thanks!

recommend to watch in HQ.

  • how exactly did you set up your fliter?

1.) where is has the kind of flow at the top right (really cool)

2.) and is it possible to set up a fluval where the inut is on one side and output on the other?

  • @cichlidlove4

  • Dear please advice me. is is t difficult to keep discus fishes and what is the most important things that i have to do keep them healthy and long. please your adivce will be highly appreciated. help me......

  • @roshan2946 to keep discus, you need large tank, massive filtration and lot of water changes. also read forums.

    regards

  • @bednim Brother, I have bought a Haqos Expro 1200 External fitler plus HX-2500L internal filter, heater, wave maker as well as tetra 300 Air pump for my fish tank. My tank is 3 (Long) , 2 ( Height) , 1 and half Width. So, is the equipments are alright for the dimension of the tank. To be honest, i lack knowladge in terms of experience. So, advice me, how often the water changes to be made and how. Any Specified treatment for other than this..? Please help me...........

  • @roshan2946 i do not recommend keeping discus in such small tank. they look the best in 5 feet and bigger tanks. i couldnt find any detail about your filter but as soon as its doing three four times of tank capacity then its fine. for all things regarding discus keeping please visit forums as i dont keep this fishes anymore and dont want to give bad advice.

  • Looks like a very healthy aquarium well done but i would agree discus not really the fish to have in an aquarium that size

  • Very nice, I have a 180 as well, how do your discus get along with your angels?

  • dass ist ja das dümmste was ich jemals gesehen habe. Diskus brauchen ruhige vergesellschaftung, hohe pflanzen etc.

Das ist einfach nicht artgercht und sieht scheiße aus

  • THat is so good! please check out mine

  • those rainbowfish look really nice!

  • Name of song ?
