In 1958, the Giants moved from New York to San Francisco. Since then, the Giants have had many exciting Pennant races including this one in 1989 when the Giants clinced their first San Francisco Pennant since 1962.
My Dad's favorite Giant player at that time, Will Clark, known as "Will the Thrill" is featured in this highlight.

  • With all due respect to Jon Miller, Hank Greenwald was the best announcer the Giants have ever had. Period.

  • Hank still gives me chills with that call.

  • @kyapello Hank Greenwald

  • who is that announcer?

  • black and orange baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My uncle, or probably my grandfather, had the postgame from this game recorded on a cassette tape with both of these calls. I grew up listening to these clips, and I've been a Giants fan since.

  • BOW to THE THRILL!!!!! \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/

  • Pretty cool! I saw some games with this lineup. Go GIANTS!
