VIVA FAVELA part 3

A 15-minute advocacy video created for the nonprofit organization, VIVA RIO, in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. VIVA FAVELA, is the first Internet portal to service low-income communities or favelas, and to train reporters and photographers from the slums to report on their neighborhoods from the inside. The video follows photographers into their communities- including the infamous "City of God" - to show positive stories that mainstream media fails to pick up. The video screened at Favela Festa and other events in Brazil.
