@musicgod182 He wasn't nearly killed by Virgil's sword. Before that cinematic there kinda is an in game fight with him. And unless you are a pro at the game, he will kick your ass at least twice before you beat him. And in the cinematic, he gets your health low enough to go into Demon Form...
I REALLY DONT WANT TO USE THIS AS AN EXAMPLE BUT FUCK!: If you ever watched the Anime Inuyasha, you will note he is a half demon too, and whenever he is close to death, he goes full demon. It's common.
