@Cozmolyne You have way more patience than I do. I gave up trying to explain anything to him months ago. The funny thing is that he will show up in a week or so, (after he studies the states accepted, sanitised version of history) and try to argue the same points he has lost before. I wonder if he learned this crap in school, or if this is something he discovered on his own. Either way, he seems to just say anything, and insult anyone who calls him on it.

If our government becomes tyrannical, surely dissent will develop within the military, creating factions defectors. Entire states might break off, taking with them military bases, weapons manufacturing and things of the sort.

Funny you mention Bryzyzinski, since he encouraged dissent in Eastern Europe against the Soviet Union.

No money was made out of our Civil War what so ever. France wanted influence in Mexico so they thought a pro-French country near Mexico would help, and gave provisions to the Confederate States, but the Confederacy lost the war. Really, do your fucking research.
