@petmomful I hope this works - I am trying two replies. If you don't want your embroidery to be seen on the back of the quilt, hoop and embroider your blocks and then layer them for quilting and do a bit of quilting around the embroidery design to stabilize the blocks before you trim them and join them.
If this is clear as mud, please email me and we can chat more :)

@petmomful Hi Marguerite, I had to google your machine to see what it is! Since you are hooping the squares, I think I'd put the blocks together and then layer with batting and backing and do the embroidery, using the embroidery as the quilting. That means that the embroidery, just like the decorative stitches we use, can be seen on the back of the quilt. If you're okay with that, try it on a small quilt? Otherwise, you'll have to quilt around your embroidery design. !Running out of space!

thanks for your video. I do have a question. I have a 12 needle embroidery machine. If I buy single run or double run designs to do the quilting on my blocks on the embroidery machine, should I embroidery these before I put the blocks together or after? Does it matter at all? Thank you. I am trying to learn and love your videos. By the way, my name is Marguerite.

This helpeds me a lot. I am a beginner.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos. I am a newbie and want to learn to quilt. I have a question for you. What size needle do you use in your sewing machine for piecing quilt blocks together. Do you always use the same size needle in your machine or do you change it occording to what you are doing? Thanks again, Gracie

@graciebrewer Hi Gracie, I am so sorry to take so long to reply - we've been on the road for weeks! I use a 90/14 for almost everything and if I have any issues, I switch to a "metallic" needle - one that is specially designed for metallic threads. Basically, I'm lazy and that one needle (90/14 - Schmetz brand) really works for almost everything that I do in quilting. Marguerita
