AWESOME performance!!! 5 STARS!!

If Dave ever does another solo tour he should team up with either Jennifer Batten or Orianthi on lead guitar. That would be beyond awesome!! Women who can play like Eddie Van Halen are out there but they're just not getting the exposure they deserve. Just my opinion.

want a big car and you finally win it that's when you're sleeping in it. great line...

@thewhiteelephant That might be true but I'll tell you this much: Jennifer Batten is the only guitarist, male or female, that I've ever seen play "Flight of the Bumble Bee" which is about the hardest, or at least the fastest piece I know for a guitarist. And Orianthi plays well enough I think to make even Eddie Van Halen's jaw drop, not to say she's BETTER, but is THAT close to EVH.

@nyshortline NO ONE can play like Eddie Van Halen--man or woman.

Best Dave solo record by far and among the best things ever produced by him in or out of Van Halen. This album was 100% done with the true fans in mind and blew VH III out of orbit!!!

intro sounds just like hot for teacher...

This song was originally marketed to the NBA. DLR's handlers were pissed that I let that news out since the deal was still being worked out. The deal was worked out and this song gets played once in a while but got a lot of time back in the day when it was released.

Dave was Van Halen!
Please, please, do me a favor, AtomicPrep...Load up the song, not live, from the album and put it on Youtube. This is a huge request. The only things I ever see when I type in, "David Lee Roth - Slam Dunk" Are some guy named David Lee playing basketball, and this vid. It would mean so much! Get back to me please!
