Okay. Story time:
-The events of KH1 happened correctly up to certain points. Sora was never able to get Riku to change his mind about the darkness, so Riku's heart ended up being taken by it. Sora was never able to save Kairi either.

A year later, Sora is still grieving over the loss of his best friends. He prays for an Angel to "lead them in". "In" being heaven of course.

An Angel does hear his prayer. Her name is Namine. She rescues both friends from the darkness, and brings them "home".

Kairi and Riku are elated to be reunited again, but soon realize something's wrong. By the 3rd day of their return, Kairi realized that Sora isn't with them.

She prays to Namine, asking her why Sora isn't with them. Namine answers by telling her that he's still alive on Earth.

Kairi asks if it's possible to bring Sora to them, but Namine says that she isn't allowed to do such a thing.
Kairi, deeply upset, runs to Riku to explain the situation. They hold eachother as they realize that it's out of their hands.

Namine sees how troubled they are, and goes to check on Sora, who is more depressed than ever.

Namine returns to Kairi telling her that their is a way to bring Sora to them, but it would be defying all laws, and would be too dangerous.

Namine also tells Riku.

Namine apologizes to Kairi, who begins to feel hopeless.

Sora begins to break down, and Kairi can almost feel his heat-ache.
Sora cannot sleep, and finds himself wandering aimlessly.

Namine can no longer stand the sorrow of Riku and Kairi, and finally hears their pleas to bring Sora to them.
She appears to Sora, takes his hand, and "leads him in".

I think it does a decent job. ^^

That's also why I add the little annotation at the end that the video is over, because I've gotten complaints from people who've sat there and watched the blackness. xD
