@nik0lhc they developed it to fire in between the props in perfect time. kind of advanced technology for the time and of course it failed on more than one occurance

@nik0lhc It shot through the prop. It was invented in mid world war one. IT would time the shot so that i wouldnt hit the prop

how did that side gun fire without hitting the proppeler?

Actually not even modern aircraft can fly upside for long periods of time as the fuel will simply not get through the engine. This is often because the fuel pumps are not that powerful so they can be smaller to save weight in the aircraft.
