COUNTRY BLUES:- See a performing artist use the Ketron XD3 Professional Arranger Workstation LIVE. All background sounds are produced by the XD3 as Ron Crites with his Accoustic Guitar controls the Arranger with his bass pedals (Chords) and footswitch (tonality and Variations, fill ins ... etc). This was recorded directly from the Boss L1 PAS system with no mixing/tweeking to give you an idea of how this sounds live. Ketron is well known in the Music industry for Best Natural Sounds and this example proves just that. This module is ideal for the Accoustic or Electric Guitar player and Accordionists!!

  • I have used the pedals Pk5--for about 10 yrs and thankfully I never have to look down at the floor so no one knows whether its programmed or manual. He does a great job here as well. A lot of my stuff is ad lib and I have more flexibility by using pedals. I play a few different instruments including banjo and mando and I fdind pedals allow me to handle songs and tunes that would never be possible using programmed tracks --although i do now and again use a couple of midis as well.

  • super

  • Great sounding device, but wouldn't it make more sense to just sequence the song? The footwork is really distracting and just takes away from the performance.

  • Just posted the video I promissed recently ... Check my playing on MidJay + MIDI Bass pedal (polyphonic works). Hope you like it !!

    Cheers!

  • Ron is for sure the best with this device... I want to get a midi guitar and begin to learn to use it but I'm not sure I could master the "foot work" either. Surely there must be a way you could load the "bass" tracks in with with other files to keep you from having to mess with the foot work. Great Ron!!

  • Ron is the best I have ever seen.I am pretty good myself on the bass pedels and guitar but he takes the biscuit. Many have tried but soon give up as it takes such great co-ordination between hands legs and planning ahead your next move, drum rolls endings etc,and all this going on and sing also...Phew....Trust me I know what I'm talking about....Beir bua agus beannacht. T

  • He keeps pretty busy with his feet on the pedals there. I'd like to see someone use this in a tune with more frequent changes. For example: Giant Steps by John Coltrane........
