If you push down the french press lever as demonstrated in this vid, you'll be sure to have bitter, astringent tea. Yuck. Fine to use the french press....just don't press down on the leaves!

we have bagged tea in the uk, but the loose tea outnumbers bagged tea here and it is mostly regional like Darjeeling and Ceylon and Assam.

Awesom video guys! Glad I found you. I just picked up the Breville BKE820XL Variable Temperature Kettle. I use a portable infuser that goes in my mug, but I like the idea of using the ingenuitea..! Thanks and keep up the great work!

@klarinetta Nothing wrong with that! I make sure to keep my french press that i use for coffee seperate from the one I'll use for tea. Otherwise I feel like the taste of the coffee gets into the tea a bit.

ginger tea is a tisane anyway, that is what we call heresy, hope that has given you an insight into tea in England.
