JK Rowling discusses her mothers illness and death, and how it affected the Harry Potter books. From NBC's show, Your Total Health, captured on 12/1/2007.
Wow...I didn't know this...and as a person that has Multiple Sclerosis...this is so awesome that she donates to the MS Society. What a great person/author.
It's amazing how, through all that has happened, she never ever gave up on writing and Harry has been with her since the very start. I think it's so sad that she couldn't have her mother see how well she's grown up, but I'm sure she knows just how well her daughter grew up.

Jo is the nicest person in the world. It's so sad that her mother wasn't there to see how successful her daughter is and how she uses her wealth.
