That's true. Indeed, and it further adds to my point that terrorism directed at the U.S. has never occured on a consistent annual basis, i.e. attacks done by foreign islamic terrorists on U.S. soil.

cvjucla, I agree with you about Iraq and terrorist recruitment, but the part of no terror attacks on US soil is wrong. What about the 1993 World Trade Center Attack?

The anthrax... Nope. No terror there. Oh yeah, they are still out there. The DC shooters... Nope. No terror there. And just so you know, the police are trained to use the proper tactics against terrorists. It is a police problem. But feel free to live your life in fear of a tactic. bush says: "Terror! Fear!" and conservatives everywhere wet their pants. Truly sad.

Here's why it matters. If you are going to lie under oath, on the record, with a video camera in your face, don't lie about something for which there is documentary evidence directly contradicting your statements. That is the scandal. Get it now?
