Awesome clip! I just read yesterday about the fake gold standard in the UK in 1922 from "A History of Money and Banking in the United States." The people carried around paper, and could cash it in for gold but at a minimum of 400oz. So basically they couldn't cash it in for gold.

So true... fractional reserve banking is the root to all the manipulation that is happening. We must end that before any backed currency is created. One thing is for sure the US dollar is done as the standard world currency.

Returning to a gold backed currency without ending the practice of Fractional Reserve Lending would be a disaster. You can only have an honest money system when neither bankers nor government can inflate the currency for their own benefit.
