I just luv hearing from the beautiful man! This gretsch is driving me nuts man! lol. Can't get a set up without fret buzz. All I've found out is, that my Strat is a fabulous guitar with an excellent neck, and I proberly won't ever get anything better. I won't give up on the gretsch though Mary. Sure look's cool, if nothing else! lol. Love always inspiring Sir! Cheers baby!

give it time ,ed......it will reveal itself...i had an acoustic guitar costum made for me earlier in the year and i hated it at first..i was so used to my buggery old takamine and i still love that guitar, but slowly this new thing reveals itself...so play it loads...try different thicker strings..its a gretsch...you'll find it will be amazing for certain things where the strat is an all rounder.

Your so right Mary. I will! I had forgotten that, when I 1st got the strat, it took ages to get the right set up. Proberly 10 to 15 set's of strings, as I recall. lol. Sound advise Sir!
