This is just another update on my eyes, the pain, and vertigo, with a sprinkling of hoop stuff added in. WINK For my deaf friends, the summary below. one day I will start making signing only videos and the non-iigners will have a transcript, hehe. That reminds me, if anyone is willing to help me to learn, or wants to learn with me, sign through email by describing the signs (I took 2 years of ASL in college from a Deaf Lady and structure was emphasized and also glossing, so I can under'stand English glossed into ASL and I do want to learn ASL with grammar, structure, and all! And Idioms are COOL!!!) I would appreciate it SO mchch! If I can learn more sign, I can make the sign videos and also might become more comfortable signing and talking and you woon't have to read summarries of my videos anymore-but no promises. SMILE
OK, here you go:
I got the pain patches about 2 and one-half weeks ago, paying for them because Medicaid refused to. They have been like a mirical! After about a week, I was down to taking nnly 1 or 2 pain pills a day and not waking up at night screaming. Now I sometimes don't have to take any. I do have my bad days, like today, where I take 3 or 4, including waking up in pain in the midle of the night. But I SO love these pain patches!
I just had the last of the stitches removed from my eye and the doctor said that my eyes are healed from all the surgeries. But like all the other eye docs, he's done all he can do to help me. So no one knows why I have the pain. So now I am left on my own to try to find someone to figure this out. I did have a CAT Scan and there was a little swelling on the left side of my brain and also my sinuses (swollen, so I guess I will see a Neurologist next to see if anything in my brain is causing the pain. I don't think I'll get any vition back, the docs pretty much botched enough surgeries to assure that-although I won't complain if a miracle hppened and I got a little back.
I am having problems with vertigo again, the "all the time" vertigo is stronger and the medds aren't helping and last night I was literally up all night spinning! I am also having there weird electrical crackling noisesin my head even with the processor off. So my doctor might be at the point that he wants to reimplant me, which he said he might want to do one day because of probbles I had before. I don't want to do that.
(some". around here I felt one of my cats and felt his collar aand said it was Hobeaux, that I mark there collars to tell them apart, and that he likes to play with my hoops) I'm sure you can tell that I feel better than in my last video. I feel like a 70 your old owoman with the muscle and joint aches the patches cause, but I feel so much better and just try to move around and stretch as much as I can to help that. I have been hooping a lot and have learned some new tricks and moves. I have trainow my left hand to do a lot I didn't think it COULD do. I got to go outside today and let loose and had a ball! I still can't dance or walk, but I can't walk normally on my own-I have to have Keith support me and I still fall sometimes (except in my own home, and I cechen more around and dance while hooping in there, there's just not that much room. So I am hoping hlearn enough upper body and off the body moves and make them into my own style as to keep people still interested in watching me hoop even though I can't move my legs-any pointers or things you like watching me do would be great to know about (in ing latest vidaeo I was on unaeaven ground and you could see me falling even though I wasn't moving my feet on purpose so that might not help much). I took a video and you can really see my improvements. I messed up a lot too and just left all that in. I mean, I am still learning so I'm gonna make mistakes. The point is that I have fun and, I hope, people enjoy watching me develop my hooping art formddT video just be posted in a few days, I want to leave this up to let people see it.
Oh, and Keith and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversarry (we argue over who loves whom more on the video. LOL)

A bit late, but happy anniversary. It's so nice to know that you still can make time for each other in all this trauma you have to face.
