Eddy Arnold is one singer that was so great in person, his records never (he sold over 80 million still) were as good.

When was growing up, my parents had the best of Eddie ARnold Album, I always thought it was god awful music when i was younger. BUT now, I just downloaded several songs from that album on i-tunes. What a great voice. I guess I've grown to be just like my parents - which is a good thing, Thanks Mom & Dad.

What a voice. One of the greatest crooners. A casette tape of his early recordings made the early 90's a lot more fun for me being in a foreing country. I played the tape constantly.

Eddy was a big hit in Brooklyn when I lived there in the 1940s and early 1950s. He was the same at that time as he was last week.
