The book was more realistic to how Halley would have reacted, after all Macon did she couldn't take it any more and realised how bad he was for her. The movie seems really off :/

To be honest, this movie was very boring compared to other great Mandy Moore's films like A Walk to Remember or Chasing Liberty but still good. I guess it was very useful film for teens. Mandy is amazing, talented, beautiful and really underrated actress.
