As I said before, Bejeweled Twist depends mostly on Extensible Markup Language (XML) - at least to ensure that the programming is laid out smoothly within applications. And here, I will show you proof again.

As usual, I get geared up by modifying XML scripts behind this game before I get into it. All this is done in the file "config_blitz.xml". Here, the changes will involve the game platform and the value of each bomb-gem that randomly slips in to the platform.

GAME PLATFORM - By default, it is 8 rows and 8 columns - 8x8 for short. As you edit most XML files, you should find the XML variables of "GameRows" and "GameColumns" within the first five lines. On a bad note, the game cannot accept more than 8 columns, so leave that alone. However, it is possible to change the number of rows from 8 to 9 or even 10. For my input in this video, I will demonstrate how an 8x10 platform is played.

AN EXPANDED PLATFORM SIMPLY MEANS MORE GEMS TO DEAL WITH! In addition, you can barely see all the gems on any monitor resolution including 800X600. However, you will need to make sure your gems fall into the right places; and that you have them well-organized for challenges and other legal moves. If you don't watch your step, you can wind up lost in the crowd of gems! You'll also have a few extra gems to take out if you use a supernova gem at the right time.

Gems Destroyed @ Platform:

39 @ 8X8
42 @ 8X9
45 @ 8X10

BOMB GEMS - As long as you have these set at higher values, you should be able to play through the game a little smoothly. But I am sure they still need some attention if push come to shove. Everytime you complete a challenge, that will jump into your game platform and zap out any bomb gem that has the lowest detonation value or biggest threat, whichever comes first. You can't move any gems while the "challengers" are in the process of taking out bomb gems and can hog up your time, so at least try to get rid of these bomb gems before the game does.

And so, PopCap Games introduces "a brilliant new way to play?" XML is your foot in the door for an extreme way to play - at least the way I see it. Enjoy the video.

NOTE: The video is only for educational purpose and is not intended for competition and/or cheating. I take no responsibility for errors in the game caused by XML scripts that you modified improperly.

FOR YOUR SAFETY: I disabled comments from outside users and bots. Please don't send me PM's asking for help on modifying XML. Users that violate the aforementioned will be blocked and turned over to YT for spamming.
