@lawrence142002 That's where I first heard this, too. I kept the episode on my DVR just to hear this piece of music. I have been searching just for the piano alone, but I have found several pieces on iTunes for downloading.

@lorenc1000 Not to be pedantic :-) but as far as I know, Paul Wittgenstein was not a friend of Ravel. He commissioned Ravel and other composers for piano works. Evidently, Wittgenstein made some fairly unappreciative comments about the concerto - and doesn't that beat all!

3 people have two hands also :this was made by Moris Ravel a french composer who created this for a pianist friend who lost an arm in ww1 .Anyway it's great song!!!!!
I first heard this on an episode of M*A*S*H where a young concert pianist loses the use of his right hand. Charles presents him with the music to this piece. It's a powerfully strong piece of music.
