Martinez Girls Miracle

Debbie Martinez is the fourth daughter in her family to graduate from the University of Southern California TRIO progam, and the fourth to go to college. Nearly 80 percent of high school seniors who go through USC TRIO go to college.

The USC TRIO programs, which include three Upward Bound programs and the Math/Science unit, serve more than 2,000 students in four middle schools and 12 high schools in Los Angeles Unified School District.
